Meet Our Founder
Umakant brings over 18 years of experience in market and social research, having worked with leading firms such as Kantar as well as serving as an independent consultant. He has deep expertise in emerging markets, particularly in Mekong region, with a strong grasp of both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
His sectoral expertise spans Telecommunications, Finance, Healthcare, Tobacco, and FMCG, while within the social sector he has led studies on Health, HIV/AIDS, Media, Good Governance, Infrastructure Development, Third Party Monitoring.
At ARM Mekong, Umakant is responsible for providing technical leadership, client engagement, and quality assurance, ensuring that all research deliverables meet the highest professional standards.
